36 Shotover Street was one of the final residential sites in Queenstown’s town centre to transition to commercial use. In the early 2000s, Westwood Group redeveloped the former Lynch House property into a contemporary multi-storey retail and commercial building. Designed to set a new architectural benchmark for Shotover Street, the development features natural stacked schist, cedar weatherboards, rough-sawn timber, extensive glazing and copper detailing, establishing a strong and lasting presence in this key part of town. The property now hosts three ground floor retail areas, a basement bar and restaurant and three levels of first class office space.
